Volunteer with the Woodland Tree Foundation to Green Woodland

NEIGHBORHOOD SHADE TREE CAMPAIGN PLANTING. Join your neighbors to plant shade trees in residential Photo 2neighborhoods of Woodland. Volunteers will work in teams to plant shade trees at the homes of participating residents to conserve energy and beautify neighborhoods. Training and refreshments will be provided. Bring a shovel, work shoes and gloves. An adult must accompany minors. To volunteer, submit a volunteer form here.

Planting dates for 2017 are:

  • March 11, 2017

All planting days are Saturdays and begin at 9:00 A.M. at Crawford Park, and will wrap-up around Noon. Refreshments, water, extra gloves and shovels are provided.

HIGHWAY 113 BEAUTIFICATION [Ongoing]. The Tree Foundation is working witharbor day voluteer TreeDavis to create a “corridor of trees” along Highway 113 between Woodland and Davis, from I-80 to I-5.
